Job summary

Amgen seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison focused on Obesity and Related Conditions to support Tallahassee and surrounding territories. You will be the primary scientific resource for Opinion Leaders, healthcare providers, and decision makers, driving data-driven conversations that inform patient care and Amgen strategies.

The role emphasizes field-based collaboration, data presentation, and cross-functional teamwork with MSL leadership to advance the obesity pipeline and research efforts.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent with 2+ years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Experience communicating scientific data to healthcare professionals.
• Ability to build relationships with Opinion Leaders and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary scientific resource to OLs, PHDMs and providers.
• Engage with clinical investigators and sites to support obesity pipeline.
• Communicate clinical and economic data to PHDMs within IDNs and institutions.
• Lead and participate in MSL projects and congress activities.
• Mentor other MSLs and ensure compliance with training and systems.
