Job summary

Amgen seeks a Sr. Medical Science Liaison for Obesity and Related Conditions in the San Jose area to act as the primary scientific resource for OLs, PHDMs, and healthcare providers. You will execute Medical function and product strategy under MSL leadership to improve patient outcomes and align with Amgen’s strategic goals.

The role is field-based within the U.S. Medical team; you will interact with investigators, institutions, and cross-functional teams to advance the obesity portfolio and

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 4+ years Medical Affairs experience.
• Master's degree with 8+ years Medical Affairs experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years Medical Affairs experience.

Responsibilities

• Peer-to-peer activities with obesity-related OLs and PHDMs to discuss the scientific platform and Amgen goals.
• Engage with clinical investigators and sites to support obesity and related conditions pipeline.
• Communicate scientific data to PHDMs and healthcare providers with focus on data value and outcomes.
• Lead and participate on project teams supporting MSL strategies and tactics.
• Lead congress activities and speaker training to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain timely administrative duties (Veeva CRM, expense reports, compliance modules).
