Vertex Pharmaceuticals Incorporated is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison (Sr MSL) to serve as a scientific liaison to HCPs and academic partners in the United States. The Sr MSL will help shape the medical plan, provide external insights, and communicate emerging data in hematology and transplant areas.

The role requires 5+ years as an MSL or similar medical affairs experience, advanced life sciences education, and up to 70% travel.

Qualifications

• Advanced biomedical or life sciences degree required.
• 5+ years of experience as an MSL or in medical affairs roles in pharma/biotech.
• Experience in designated therapeutic area is helpful.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% overnight.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains relationships with Thought Leaders in Sickle Cell, Thalassemia and Transplant communities.
• Incorporates SEM into interactions and territory planning.
• Represents Vertex at medical congresses with session coverage and debriefs.
• Collaborates with medical plan execution and external stakeholder feedback.
