Job summary

Praxis Precision Medicines, Inc. is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison for the Northeast, with remote work optional and travel of 60–80% as needed.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA, or RN).
• Experience in medical affairs, clinical research, clinical care, or field-based roles within biotech/pharma.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and communicate complex data with credibility to diverse stakeholders.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently in a dynamic launch environment.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals and KOLs.
• Experience translating field insights into actionable cross-functional recommendations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills and follow-through.
• Willingness to travel extensively (~60–80%) in a field-based role.
• Experience in neurology or CNS disorders and market access/payor landscape is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary field-based scientific partner to investigators and stakeholders, supporting prelaunch readiness and product adoption.
• Deliver high-quality scientific exchange on disease state and clinical data for the ulixacaltimide profile.
• Educate and prepare clinical sites and healthcare providers for launch, including identification and treatment considerations.
• Proactively gather, synthesize, and communicate field insights to inform medical and cross-functional strategy.
• Identify and engage KOLs and influencers to support advocacy and scientific engagement strategies.
• Partner with Medical, Clinical Development, Market Access, and Commercial teams to align on field strategy.
• Represent Praxis at scientific congresses and advisory engagements, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
• Maintain deep expertise in CNS/neurology and evolving treatment landscapes to inform field strategy.
• Ensure all field activities comply with regulatory requirements, GCP standards, and Praxis SOPs.
