Job summary

Praxis Precision Medicines is seeking a field-based Medical Science Liaison to support prelaunch and launch activities in CNS/neurology. This role is remote with travel up to 60–80% to engage investigators and providers, educate on disease state and emerging data, and prepare sites for launch.

You will translate clinical data into actionable insights, work cross-functionally with Medical, Clinical Development, Market Access, and Commercial teams, and shape field strategy in a fast-moving launch

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree required.
• Experience in medical affairs, clinical research, clinical care, or field-based roles within biotech/pharma.
• Ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific data clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Strong ownership mindset with ability to operate independently in a dynamic, prelaunch/launch environment.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, investigators, and KOLs.
• Experience translating field insights into actionable cross-functional recommendations.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% in a field-based role.
• Experience in neurology or CNS disorders preferred.
• Experience within market access/payor landscape preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary field-based scientific partner to investigators and stakeholders to support readiness and adoption.
• Deliver scientific exchange on disease state and clinical data, clarifying the ulixacaltimide profile.
• Educate and prepare clinical sites and providers for launch, including patient identification and treatment considerations.
• Proactively gather, synthesize, and communicate field insights to inform medical and cross-functional strategy.
• Identify and engage KOLs and emerging influencers for scientific engagement strategies.
• Partner cross-functionally with Medical, Clinical Development, Market Access, and Commercial teams to align field strategy.
• Represent Praxis at scientific congresses and advisory engagements, translating external insights into actionable recommendations.
• Maintain deep expertise in CNS/neurology and apply insights to field strategy.
• Ensure all field activities comply with regulatory requirements, GCP standards, and Praxis policies and SOPs.
