Job summary

Argenta in Shawnee, KS seeks a Senior Chemist, MSAT to lead cGMP analytical method development, transfer, verification, and validation for active ingredients, raw materials, and finished drug products. You will mentor colleagues, qualify new instrumentation, and ensure adherence to GLP/GMP guidelines.

The role requires a strong chemistry background, experience with HPLC/GC, and proven ability to manage multiple analytical projects with client interaction responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related Science field with work experience in cGMP/GLP lab (6+ years with BS or 3+ with MS preferred).
• Proficient at HPLC and GC analysis and preparation of reagents and sample solutions for testing.
• Proficiency with wet chemistry testing methodologies (pH, viscosity, density, particle size, titration).
• Experience with mass spec methods and instrumentation preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to operate laboratory analytical instrumentation and calibration/troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of GMP and FDA manufacturing regulations.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Awareness of current industry issues and evolving trends in regulated environments domestically & internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead method development/transfer/verification/validation for finished dosages and raw materials.
• Design and execute method transfer/verification protocols and associated reports.
• Designs and execute cleaning validation protocols with detailed reports.
• Lead development of analytical methods to assess purity, potency, and stability.
• Manage workload and timelines; coordinate with management and clients.
• Serve as backup/lead for laboratory manager; lead instrument setup and qualification.
• Write SOPs and provide training; perform data review.
• Address project questions on calls with internal teams and external clients.
