Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Analytical Chemist in Easley, SC to develop, qualify, and transfer analytical methods for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. You will lead complex analyses, validate new methods, and ensure GMP-compliant operations supporting manufacturing and R&D.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting instruments, mentoring junior staff, and delivering regulatory-compliant data.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry with 5+ years of related experience, or Master of Science with 10+ years of experience is preferred.
• Experience with test method development, validation, and technical transfers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and transfer complex analytical methods for raw materials and finished products.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation including HPLC, GC, DSC, FTIR, UV-Vis, GPC, NIR, auto-titrators, etc.
• Execute analytical method development plans and test method documentation.
• Collaborate with technical staff to conduct analyses for research projects and manufacturing support.
• Coordinate and advise lab personnel in test procedures and data interpretation.
