Job summary

Argenta is seeking a Chemist, MSAT at its Shawnee, KS location to support or lead cGMP analytical method development, transfer, verification and validation of active ingredients and finished drug products.

You will manage multiple concurrent analytical projects, interface with clients and project teams, and ensure adherence to schedules. Strong HPLC/GC skills and GMP knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry with work experience in cGMP/GLP lab environments.
• Proficient at HPLC and GC analysis and preparation of reagents.
• Knowledge of GMP and FDA manufacturing regulations; ability to analyze data.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with analytical method development, transfer, verification and validation.

Responsibilities

• Performs and maintains records for method development/verification/validation of finished dosage forms and raw materials per cGMP requirements.
• Manages design and execution of method transfer/verification protocols and reports.
• Designs and executes cleaning validation protocols with detailed reporting.
• Supports or leads activities to develop analytical methods for purity, potency, and stability.
• Ensures testing timelines are met; manages workload and project timelines.
• Reads and interprets USP/EP/JP; follows analytical methodologies.
• Acts as SME in lab practices; writes SOPs and provides training.
• Uses root cause analysis to complete lab investigations.
