Job summary

Argenta is seeking a Microbiologist, MSAT at our Shawnee, KS location. You will lead cGMP microbiological method development/feasibility, transfer, verification and validation of APIs, raw materials, and finished drug products, and support instrument qualification and GLP guidelines.

You will manage multiple projects, interact with client teams, and ensure compliance with USP/EP/J.P. monographs while contributing to technical SOPs and investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology or related science with 3+ years in a cGMP/GLP lab.
• Proficient in microbiological testing (sterility, endotoxin, bioburden, ELISA).
• Strong technical writing; able to author SOPs and method docs.
• Knowledge of GMP/FDA manufacturing regulations and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate microbiological methods for APIs and dosage forms.
• Lead method transfer, suitability studies, and validation activities.
• Prepare records and reports detailing methods and investigations.
• Collaborate with project teams and clients on technical questions.
