inventYOU is seeking an MS SQL Engineer to design, develop and maintain data solutions on an on-premises Microsoft SQL Server environment. The role emphasizes SQL development and SSIS-based ETL processes that support critical business operations.

You will collaborate with data, development and business teams to ensure reliable, well-performing data pipelines, with opportunities to contribute to best practices and code reviews. The position welcomes medior and senior engineers.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as an MS SQL / ETL Engineer or Developer (5+ years for senior level).
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
• Solid experience designing and developing SSIS packages
• Experience with query optimisation and performance tuning
• Good understanding of ETL principles, data warehousing and data modelling
• Experience working in on-premises environments
• Familiarity with version control and deployment practices for database and ETL code
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting abilities
• Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and maintain SSIS packages and ETL processes
• Write and optimise T-SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, views and triggers
• Monitor, troubleshoot and tune the performance of SQL Server databases and ETL jobs
• Design and maintain data models and database structures
• Ensure data quality, integrity and consistency across systems
• Schedule, deploy and support ETL jobs in an on-premises environment
• Analyse and resolve production issues and perform root cause analysis
• Collaborate with developers, analysts and business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
• Document solutions and contribute to best practices and code reviews
