Job summary

Fuel Talent LLC seeks a Senior Data Operations Analyst to own inbound data pipelines, loading partner and client files into our client’s systems. You will run SQL Server, SSIS, cron jobs, and legacy VB scripts, transforming data for downstream platforms.

You will mentor junior analysts, partner with Data & Analytics on platform modernization, and help migrate manual processes to automated ingestion using Microsoft Fabric.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum three years of hands-on data operations, ETL, or data-integration experience.
• Production experience with SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedures, and query optimization.
• Production experience designing, deploying, and maintaining SSIS packages.
• Experience operating batch-scheduling environments such as cron, SQL Server Agent, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, validates, and transforms inbound client and partner files using SQL and SSIS.
• Ensures data conforms to record-keeping platform requirements.
• Designs, deploys, and maintains SSIS packages for data movement to canonical layer.
• Operates, monitors, and improves cron-scheduled batch jobs.
• Maintains and modernizes VB/VB.NET scripts supporting workflows.
• Monitors pipeline quality, conducts root-cause analysis, and remediates incidents.
• Mentors Data Operations Analysts through reviews and guidance.
• Partners to migrate manual file processing to automated ingestion with Microsoft Fabric.
• Documents data-integration patterns, runbooks, and remediation procedures.
