Job summary

Akumin Lead MRI Technologist is sought to act as a clinical expert for the assigned territory and to train new hires. You will perform MRI scans and support protocol development while ensuring patient safety and care quality.

The role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, state licensure as applicable, and at least 3 years of technologist experience; travel to multiple locations may be required, with emphasis on teamwork and high service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years technologist experience.
• High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.
• State license, if applicable, required.
• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification as allowable.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical MRI scans.
• Trains new hires and conducts ongoing reviews of competencies.
• Assists with day-to-day unit operations.
• Collaborates on protocol development and review with team and customers.
