Job summary

University of Miami Hospital Imaging UTower seeks an experienced MRI Technologist 3 to perform complex MRI procedures and ensure high-quality diagnostic images under Radiologist supervision.

You will verify orders, obtain informed consent, and maintain patient safety while collaborating with radiologists and clinical staff. A Florida radiographer license is preferred, with ARRT certification and CPR/BLS compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and BLS certification required.
• ARRT registered and ARRT Certified in primary modality or within one (1) year of hire date.
• State of Florida License as a General Radiographer preferred.
• Five (5) years of relevant experience preferred, will consider new graduates from accredited schools.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Verify orders and ensure patient safety and appropriate exam type.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures and contrast administration as applicable.
• Maintain equipment, records and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
