Job summary

UF Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging, ensure high-quality images, and support clinicians in diagnostic processes. The role includes maintaining MRI equipment and assisting patients and physicians.

Qualifications include ARRT certification with Florida Radiographer License or ARMRIT MRI Certification within 12 months, and BLS. Prior imaging experience is preferred, with accountability for patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of computer software and ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to provide physical and/or psychological support to patients.
• Graduate from Radiologic Technology School.
• Preferred Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.
• BLS Certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
• Maintains knowledge of all equipment currently in use.
• Assists patients and physicians as needed.
• Trains technical staff on protocols and post-processing techniques.
