Job summary

The University of Miami Hospital & Clinics Imaging Services in Miami, FL seeks a MRI Technologist 3 to perform complex MRI procedures, adhere to safety protocols, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, preparing equipment, assisting radiologists with injections and interventional MRI, maintaining patient records, and providing training to students; on-site, full-time schedule, day/evening shifts; Florida license preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology / Diagnostic Imaging Program.
• CPR and BLS certification required.
• ARRT registered and/or certified in primary modality within one year of hire.
• State of Florida General Radiographer license preferred.
• Five years of relevant experience preferred; new graduates considered.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and examine MRI orders, verify patient information and orders.
• Follow MRI protocols and safety procedures under radiologist supervision.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures and injections when applicable.
• Position patients, operate MRI equipment, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain patient records and assist with training of student technologists.
