Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology/Diagnostic Imaging program.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT registered and ARRT Certified in primary modality or within one year of hire.
• State of Florida General Radiographer license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and examines MRI orders to verify procedures and notes.
• Ensures orders match the exam type and notifies supervisor of discrepancies.
• Operates MRI scanners and related equipment following safety procedures.
• Assists Radiologist with imaging procedures, IVs, and contrast administration when applicable.
• Evaluates MRI scans for technical quality and archives images to PACS.
