Job summary

The MRI Tech III at Home Health performs advanced MRI procedures within the department, applying current imaging techniques, adapting to new technology, and maintaining safety for patients with implants such as pacemakers and electronic pumps.

Reporting to Radiologist and MRI Supervisor, the role requires independent judgment, strong MRI physics knowledge, and compassionate care for claustrophobic patients, ensuring accurate scans and compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• ARRT MRI Certification required.
• 5 years of progressive MR experience.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations in the MRI department with advanced techniques.
• Adapt to evolving imaging technologies and protocols.
• Ensure patient safety, including screening for implants and claustrophobia.
• Operate under supervision of Radiologist and MRI Supervisor.
