Job summary

BARNES-JEWISH HOSPITAL in St. Louis, MO, invites applications for a Full-Time Senior MRI Advanced Modality Technologist in the Center for Advanced Medicine within the Radiation Oncology Department.

The role performs MRI and related modalities, supports lead technicians, and participates in training students and new staff. The position features day shift, no weekend or on-call coverage, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Certification as RT(R) and/or MR is required.
• Associate’s Degree or trade school equivalency (or higher).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in medical imaging.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures.
• Perform studies independently and manage portable exams as required.
• Maintain regulatory compliance (ACR, JC) and oversee quality assurance programs.
• Participate in safety and quality improvement initiatives, leading efforts to enhance patient experience and employee engagement.
• Mentor new employees and clinical students.
• Maintain consistent safety‑sensitive performance.
