NXP Semiconductors NV is seeking a Senior MPU & Embedded AI Field Application Engineer to cover the Eastern U.S. from a home-based position. You will support Healthcare and Industrial designs, drive design wins, and work with sales to enable solutions across AI-enabled edge platforms.

Applicants should have 6+ years in SoC-embedded systems, strong knowledge of embedded Linux, and hands-on experience with system interfaces (Ethernet, MIPI, PCIe). Some travel to customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
• 6+ years of development engineering or applications support of SoC-based embedded systems
• Field Application Engineering experience in the semiconductor industry
• Knowledge of embedded Linux (kernel and user-space, u-boot)

Responsabilités

• Deliver premium technical support in content and time to assigned customers
• 100% Accountable to drive design wins and revenue generation in their target accounts and target technology
• Leads proof of concept, solution design and demonstrations to secure NXP solution's design-in
• Synthesizes customer and competitive insights to improve product definition, system solutions enablement, and roadmaps
• Establishes the value proposition of NXP's system solutions relative to competition
• Collaborates with sales team members, business lines, and partners in support of customer and sales team objectives
• Assists in training the customer, sales and distribution partners on new technologies, new product features and their value propositions.
• Develops system level knowledge of target application spaces
