Job summary

NXP Semiconductors is seeking a Senior MPU & Embedded AI Field Application Engineer for the Eastern U.S. You'll support design-in activities across healthcare and industrial markets, delivering technical expertise to drive revenue and customer satisfaction.

This remote role covers the Eastern U.S. region with travel to customer sites as needed, requiring deep embedded Linux and SoC expertise and a proven ability to train sales teams and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS or EE with 6+ years of SoC embedded systems experience.
• Embedded Linux kernel and user-space experience required.
• Strong knowledge of Ethernet, MIPI, UART, LPDDR4/5, PCIe and ARM Cortex.
• Experience in design-in and customer-facing field applications.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings.
• Experience training sales staff and distributors.
• Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver premium technical support to assigned customers.
• Drive design wins and revenue in target accounts.
• Lead proof of concept, solution design and demonstrations.
• Synthesize customer and competitive insights to improve product roadmaps.
• Collaborate with sales team members, business lines, and partners.
• Provide training on new technologies and their value propositions.
• Develop system-level knowledge of target application spaces.
