Job summary

NXP Semiconductors is hiring a Senior MPU & Embedded AI Field Application Engineer to cover the Eastern U.S. from a home-based role. You will drive design-in activity, support Healthcare and Industrial spaces, and collaborate with sales and product teams to grow market share.

You will lead PoCs and demonstrations, translate customer needs into product roadmaps, and train customers and partners on new technologies and features. Occasional travel to customer sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS or EE required.
• Minimum 6+ years of development engineering or applications support of SoC-based embedded systems.
• Experience with embedded Linux (kernel, user-space, U-Boot) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver premium technical support to assigned customers.
• Drive design-wins and revenue in target accounts and technologies.
• Lead PoC, design-in, and demonstrations for NXP solutions.
• Translate customer needs into product roadmaps and enablement.
• Collaborate with sales, business lines, and partners to meet objectives.
• Provide training on new technologies and product features.
