Job summary

Harbor Lane is seeking compassionate home organizers to support families during moves. You’ll guide sorting room by room, pack and label items, and help unpack so the new home feels welcoming from night one.

This role is physical and emotional, requiring clear communication with clients and their adult children, careful inventory, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. A valid driver’s license and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and bend and reach repeatedly, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
• A smartphone, and comfort using apps for checklists, photos, and schedules
• Willing to work in homes that are dusty, cluttered, or in disrepair
• Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to follow plans and talk with clients
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Offers are contingent on a background check

Responsibilities

You'll work inside a client's home helping an older adult sort a lifetime of belongings, pack what's coming with them, and unpack it on the other end so the new place feels like home on the first night.
