Job summary

MotoSport.com in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Senior Motorcycle Technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and install system components safely and efficiently. The role supports entry-level technicians as needed and reports to the Service Manager.

Schedule Tue-Fri and Sat shifts; competitive benefits include PTO, 401(k), medical/dental/vision, and employee discounts. Must be able to lift heavy parts and operate in a busy dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Customer-first mindset and customer service focus.
• Ownership of a complete set of tools.
• Mechanical knowledge of rider segments (Dirt, Street, ATV, Utility ATV, UTV, Cruiser).
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
• Proactive mindset and problem-solving skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Virginia State Inspector preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair products sold in the dealership.
• Perform full and complete diagnosis on units in for service.
• Communicate repairs needed to Service Manager or Writer.
• Train and mentor less experienced technicians.
• Assemble new units and perform pre-delivery inspections.
• Work with minimal supervision and adhere to policies.
