Job summary

Adventure Moto KTM in McKinney, TX seeks a Senior Motorcycle Technician for a full-time, on-site role. You will perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on KTM and adventure motorcycles, including engines, suspensions, brakes, electrical systems, and accessories.

You will mentor junior technicians, maintain accurate service records, coordinate with service advisors, and clearly communicate findings and maintenance options to customers to ensure a high-quality service experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with diagnostics, maintenance, and scheduled service on motorcycles.
• Hands-on experience on KTM/adventure bikes and performance/off-road setups.
• Ability to read service manuals, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer docs; use diagnostic tools.
• Strong communication and customer-service orientation; mentor junior technicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on KTM and other adventure motorcycles (engines, suspensions, brakes, electrical systems, accessories).
• Inspect bikes for mechanical issues and complete scheduled services.
• Install upgrades or aftermarket parts and ensure work meets safety and manufacturer standards.
• Mentor and support junior technicians with quality checks and knowledge sharing.
• Maintain accurate service records and coordinate with service advisors on work orders and timelines.
• Communicate clearly with customers about findings, repair options, and maintenance recommendations.
