Job summary
The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California is seeking an experienced O&M Technician IV (Motor-Grader) at Lake Mathews Riverside to operate a range of heavy equipment and support critical water infrastructure projects.
You will work a 4/10 schedule and be responsible for safe operation, routine maintenance, and fleet logistics across a diverse fleet, ensuring asset reliability and timely project execution at the Riverside facility.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED plus 6+ years in heavy construction equipment operation.
- Or high school diploma/GED with journey-level skills from a recognized equipment operator program or related industrial experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate motor-graders for precise grading and leveling.
- Drive dump, water, and stake bed trucks.
- Maintain water assets and repair infrastructure.
- Build and maintain access roads and rights-of-way.
- Haul and transport equipment using multi-axle trucks and trailers.
