Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 5-10 years' experience in electro-magnetic motors, windings, products, and systems engineering.
• Excellent verbal/written communication for multi-faceted interactions.
• Highly computer literate with MS Office/PC experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototyping, assembly and testing of electromagnetic motor topologies for aerospace/defense motors in AS9100 environment.
• Develop breakthrough motor technologies to win in served market segments.
• Optimize designs for manufacturability and cost using materials selection and GD&T.
• Perform electromagnetic analysis (FEM, simulation, modeling) and support system tradeoffs.
• Collaborate with actuation and test engineering to drive new programs.
