Ally Financial is seeking a Senior Motion & Interaction Designer to grow our motion design practice within UX. You will shape how motion enhances digital customer experiences and help scale it across the organization.

The role requires independent work, cross-functional influence, and a balance of strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Work closely with the UX Principal of Motion and collaborate with Creative Services, UX Design, Marketing, Product, and Technology to deliver meaningful,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in motion design, interaction design, animation, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead motion initiatives from concept through implementation.

Responsibilities

• Build and expand Ally's motion design practice within UX.
• Partner with UX designers to define interaction behaviours and motion patterns.
• Create production-ready motion assets using tools like Lottie, Rive, and related technologies.
• Develop reusable motion patterns and scalable design frameworks across Ally’s products.
