Job summary

Ally Bank is seeking a Senior Motion & Interaction Designer to grow our motion design practice within UX. You will shape how motion enhances Ally’s digital customer experiences and help scale its frameworks across the organization.

The role requires independent work, cross-functional influence, and a passion for accessible, engaging motion design. You will collaborate with UX, Design Ops, Marketing, Product, and Technology teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in motion design, interaction design, animation, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in After Effects, Figma, and modern prototyping tools.
• Experience with Lottie, Rive, front-end motion tech or similar motion implementation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead motion initiatives from concept through implementation with minimal oversight.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define interaction behaviors and motion-driven patterns.
• Develop production-ready motion assets and reusable motion patterns across Ally’s digital products.
