Job summary

Monks is seeking a seasoned Senior Motion Artist / Editor to join an embedded creative team, delivering rapid-turn editorial, digital, and marketing content. You will operate on-site with senior client stakeholders, showcasing motion-first craft and end-to-end production autonomy.

Your strength lies in elite motion design, editorial storytelling, and the ability to navigate changing requirements while maintaining brand standards.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years in motion design or post-production within a fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in After Effects, Premiere Pro, and modern motion workflows.
• Fluent English with strong stakeholder communication.
• Onsite work in Menlo Park, CA 4–5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end motion and video delivery from brief to final render.
• Lead motion craft, pacing, typography, and transitions.
• Present work to client leads and drive decisions independently.
• Integrate AI tools into production to accelerate output.
• Animate technical narratives and translate product flows into visuals.
• Collaborate with design systems and pull assets from Figma.
• Build reusable motion toolkits and templates.
• Handle sound design and audio finishing.
• Self-QA to ensure quality and brand compliance.
• Maintain confidentiality of unreleased material.
