Monks in the United States is seeking a Semi Senior Video Editor to transform footage into polished stories for global brands. You will work in a fast-paced creative team with a high end technical focus, shaping brand campaigns and collaborating with producers and creative leaders.

You have 3+ years of editing experience, proficiency with Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve, plus Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma for graphics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in video editing, preferably in a creative agency or production studio.
• Proficient in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Da Vinci Resolve; strong graphics skills in Photoshop/Illustrator/Figma.
• Solid storytelling instincts with pacing, continuity, and visual impact.
• Excellent organizational and multi-project management skills.
• Creative problem solving with a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble footage into polished final products for diverse platforms.
• Create motion graphics assets for social, digital ads, and campaigns.
• Collaborate with producers, designers, and teams to realise project visions.
• Mentor junior editors to improve their craft.
• Enhance videos with graphics, sound, and effects in line with brand guidelines.
• Organize media assets and ensure version control for efficient workflow.
• Maintain quality through color grading and audio balancing.
• Handle multiple projects with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
• Iterate on edits based on feedback from direction and clients.
• Stay updated on trends and tools to elevate production quality.
