Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years mortgage or HELOC underwriting experience.
• Working knowledge of Encompass preferred.

Responsibilities

• Underwrites residential mortgage loans to meet guidelines and risk objectives.
• Interprets credit and regulatory rules to ensure compliant decisions.
• Communicates with internal partners throughout the mortgage process.
• Provides training and acts as subject matter expert for underwriting processes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
