Job summary

Androscoggin Bank in Lewiston, Maine is hiring a Senior Mortgage Specialist to support our Mortgage team. This role includes preparing regulatory disclosures, analyzing loan documentation, and communicating with clients to expedite the loan process. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in mortgage processing, and a strong knowledge of lending regulations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in mortgage loan processing.
• 7+ recent years of processing FHA, RD, and VA loan files.
• Ability to identify problems early in the loan process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and provide regulatory disclosures for loans.
• Communicate with clients to obtain documentation.
• Assemble and submit loan files to underwriting.
• Train and mentor junior Mortgage Specialists.
