Job summary

First Commerce Bank in Lakewood, NJ is seeking a Loan Processor II for Residential & Consumer Lending. You will assemble, verify, and process loan applications from intake to closing, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations.

Responsibilities include reviewing income/assets documentation, issuing disclosures, coordinating with Underwriting, Closing, and secondary market teams, and delivering excellent service to Loan Officers and customers.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent; 3–5 years mortgage processing experience preferred.
• Experience: 3–5 years residential mortgage processing experience required.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with RESPA, TILA, HMDA disclosure timing requirements and mortgage regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process residential and consumer loan applications from intake through closing to ensure a compliant, investor-ready file.
• Review and collect income, asset, and credit documentation.
• Issue Loan Estimates and disclosures per regulations and timing requirements.
• Coordinate with Underwriting, Closing, and secondary market teams to ensure smooth processing.
• Provide excellent service to Loan Officers and customers; maintain accurate records and reports.
