Job summary

First Commerce Bank is seeking a Loan Operations Administrator III for the Lakewood, NJ location. A Bachelor’s degree in business/finance and at least five years of loan operations experience are required, with preferred exposure to residential mortgage servicing.

The role demands strong attention to detail, organizational and project management skills, and proficiency in MS Office and FIS Horizon.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years loan operations and servicing experience required, including loan boarding, payment processing, payoffs, reconciliation, and investor reporting.
• Knowledge in escrow administration is beneficial but can be taught.

Responsibilities

• Processes loan payments accurately and in accordance with established procedures.
• Prepares payoff statements and processes loan payoffs and related activities.
• Books new loans and verifies system data matches loan documents.
• Processes changes in terms and other loan maintenance events.
• Indexes and maintains loan documentation per standards.
• Reviews Director reports and resolves discrepancies within timeframes.
• Responds to customer and internal inquiries professionally and timely.
• Prepares and submits SBA 1502/PPP reports as applicable.
• Reviews loan pledging eligibility and coordinates required coding.
