Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a licensed and experienced Loan Processor to handle the end-to-end processing of conventional, FHA, VA and Bond mortgage loans. You will liaise between loan officers, borrowers, and underwriters to ensure all documents are complete and compliant.

The role requires strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail and a proven ability to manage the processing cycle to meet closing timelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college courses in Business/Finance/Accounting preferred.
• Five+ years of experience as a Loan Processor, with FHA/Conventional and VA/Bond loans experience preferred.
• Ability to build strong relationships with loan officers, production, underwriting and closing teams.
• Expert knowledge of mortgage lending processes, federal/state regulations and investor guidelines.
• Strong analytical, attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and PDF retention programs.

Responsibilities

• Process and pre-underwrite conventional, FHA, VA and Bond mortgage loans to ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with loan officers, borrowers and underwriters to ensure timely closings.
• Review and verify documentation and compliance with investor guidelines.
• Monitor loan processing cycle time and address issues delaying closings.
• Coach and support less experienced processors as needed.
