Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services, LLC in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Loan Officer, Specialty Products to sell Non-QM and other mortgages and guide customers through options. You will prospect new business, manage the loan process, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

The role requires a Mortgage Loan Originator license (NMLS) and Safe Act certification, with two or more years in mortgage lending preferred. This is a full-time opportunity with national origination potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Two (2) or more years’ experience in mortgage lending preferred with some experience specifically in the Non-QM products.
• Must have a current Mortgage Loan Originator License through NMLS.
• Safe Act/MLO certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business via outbound calls to company-sourced leads and inbound inquiries.
• Adhere to all phone disclosure requirements when speaking to customers.
• Manage the loan process according to laws, Carrington guidelines, and investor requirements.
• Follow up with prospects regarding documents, review credit/income, and conduct further research as required.
• Explain various loan products to customers.
• Provide a high level of customer service during the loan process.
• Ensure loans comply with Carrington guidelines and investor requirements.
• Partner with operations staff to ensure expedient file flow.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
