The role leads internal and external audits, regulatory exams, and investor reviews across mortgage servicing operations, coordinating complex engagements and driving remediation. The ideal candidate has strong mortgage servicing knowledge, risk judgment, and communication skills to report findings to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in mortgage servicing or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate complex audits, regulatory examinations, investor reviews, and other testing activities across mortgage servicing operations.
• Evaluate requests, allocate ownership, plan timelines, and drive deliverables to completion.
• Serve as liaison between Business Controls, servicing operations, Internal Audit, Compliance, Risk, external auditors, and investors.
• Review findings and management responses for completeness, regulatory alignment, and audit readiness.
• Assess audit findings for regulatory, investor, and operational impact; identify gaps and risks.
