Job summary

Selene Holdings in the US seeks a Claims Specialist II to manage mortgage-related insurance and investor claims from initiation through resolution. You will collaborate with investors, insurers, attorneys, and vendors to ensure accurate submissions and timely recoveries.

The ideal candidate is analytical, highly detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced mortgage servicing environment. Prior claims or servicing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with related mortgage servicing/claims experience.
• Experience with mortgage claims platforms or servicing systems is preferred.
• Ability to maintain accuracy and manage confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, submit, and manage MI, FHA/HUD, VA, USDA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and other claims.
• Ensure submissions comply with investor, insurer, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
• Monitor claim inventories and follow up to recover proceeds.
• Research and resolve deficiencies, denials, curtailments, rescissions, and exceptions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to validate documentation.
