Job summary

NBH Bank is seeking a Mortgage Banker III to originate first mortgage loans from banking center leads, referrals, and networking. You will develop referral partnerships and manage a diverse client book, aiming for 60 units annually while aligning with client experience, compliance, and operations.

The role requires strong knowledge of RESPA and Dodd-Frank, ongoing regulatory compliance, and an active NMLS license.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Business, Finance or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or equivalent combination of education and related work experience is preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in mortgage banking.
• Advanced knowledge of RESPA/government regulations for residential mortgages.
• Knowledge and experience operating within Dodd-Frank regulations.
• Must be registered and licensed in NMLS as required by SAFÉ Act.

Responsibilities

• Originate 60 units of first mortgage loan products annually.
• Develop referral partner relationships with NBH Banking Center Associates.
• Align mortgage priorities with the Client Experience, compliance, audit and operations.
• Monitor marketplace competition and trends to inform sales strategy.
• Identify referral sources and expand banking relationships to increase wallet share.
