Job summary

NBH Bank is seeking a Mortgage Banker III to generate mortgage loan production from banking center supplied leads and referrals. You will originate 60 units of first mortgage loan products annually and build referral partner relationships with NBH Banking Center Associates, while aligning priorities with client experience, compliance, and operations.

You will also monitor market trends, expand existing relationships, and develop a book of business through prospecting while servicing NBH Banking

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Business, Finance or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in mortgage banking.
• Advanced knowledge of RESPA/government regulations for residential mortgages.
• Knowledge and experience operating within Dodd-Frank regulations.
• Proven track record of success in the mortgage lending industry.
• Must be/become registered and licensed in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) as required by the S.A.F.E. Act.
• This position requires ongoing compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and related NBH's compliance policies including acceptable background check investigation results.

Responsibilities

• As a Mortgage Banker III, you will originate 60 units of first mortgage loan products annually and develop referral partner relationships with NBH Banking Center Associates. You will align mortgage priorities with the Client Experience, compliance, audit and operations, monitor marketplace competition and trends to inform sales strategy, identify referral sources, and expand existing business relationships while servicing clients to increase wallet share.
