Job summary

NBH Bank is seeking a Mortgage Banker I in Denver to originate a high volume of first‑mortgage loans from bank leads, realtors, builders, and networks. You will develop referral relationships with Banking Center teams, align priorities with Client Experience, and ensure compliance and audits are met.

Build a substantial book of business while servicing NBH Bank clients. The role requires a strong track record in mortgage banking, knowledge of RESPA and Dodd‑Frank rules, and active NMLS

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate degree in Business, Finance or equivalent with 5+ years in mortgage banking.
• Advanced knowledge of RESPA and government regulations for residential mortgages.
• Registration and licensure in NMLS as required by SAFÉ Act.

Responsibilities

• Generate mortgage loan production from various leads and sources.
• Originate 60 units of first mortgage loan products annually and grow referral partnerships.
• Align mortgage priorities with the Client Experience, compliance, audit and operations.
