Job summary

CACI is seeking a Senior Software Developer to lead technical planning, guide modernization, and supervise a team developing mission-critical systems built on Momentum. You will collaborate with Momentum SMEs, system integrators, and leadership to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

You will mentor developers, ensure high-quality software, support CI/CD improvements, and shape the program's technical direction while working on-site in Rosslyn, VA.

Qualifications

• Requires 8 to 15 years software development experience with at least 3 years in a technical lead or engineering lead role.
• Hands-on experience with Momentum or similar complex COTS products.
• Strong Java development experience, including microservices architectures.
• Experience developing and deploying applications in OpenShift.
• Experience with GitLab for source control and CI/CD.
• Strong database skills (Oracle or comparable relational database experience).
• Ability to prioritize tasks and lead development efforts in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and mentoring abilities.
• Experience with WebMethods for system-to-system integrations.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for SCI access and a counterintelligence (CI) polygraph.
• Willingness to work on-site in Rosslyn, VA, up to five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Momentum / COTS Leadership: Lead technical work within a Momentum environment and coordinate upgrades.
• Software Engineering & Architecture: design and maintain services supporting the program's mission system.
• Cloud, Containers, and DevSecOps: build and deploy in OpenShift with CI/CD pipelines.
• Database & Data Layer: work with Oracle/PostgreSQL and data modeling.
• Team Leadership & Quality Assurance: mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and improve processes.
