Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant engineering field with extensive research track record.
• 12+ years of experimental high-temperature fluids, molten salts or liquid metals, in R&D or fusion/nuclear tech.
• Hands-on leadership of multidisciplinary teams and lab programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, build, commission, and operate the Molten Salt Laboratory.
• Define and own the development roadmap for molten salt capabilities from small pots to large test loops.
• Develop experimental environments including corrosion, jet nozzle design, and heat exchanger testing.
• Collaborate with science and engineering teams to translate data into design requirements and solutions.
• Lead external collaborations with labs, universities, and vendors for high-temperature salt systems.
• Establish lab best practices, documentation, and quality standards.
• Support root-cause analysis and engineering reviews of development anomalies.
