Job summary

Intertek USA is seeking a Senior Project Manager for the Modular Inspector role, primarily remote with up to 80% travel across the U.S. and potential international travel.

The base salary ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and retirement matching. The role involves inspections of modular units at manufacturing facilities, verifying QA/QC, reviewing drawings, and coordinating with engineers and project managers to ensure compliance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of past building inspection experience (modular/state program experience preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively, including overnight and international travel.
• Knowledge of building construction methods and code compliance.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and approved plans.
• Ability to document factory inspections and verify corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-plant inspections of modular units, components, and building systems.
• Verify compliance against drawings, specifications, codes, and QA/QC standards.
• Inspect construction and materials to meet approved requirements.
• Monitor QA/QC procedures and review production records.
• Document inspections with reports, photos, and observations.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and travel to facilities nationwide and internationally.
