Job summary

Roeslein Modular Fabrication in Red Bud, IL, is seeking an experienced Assembler to join our ESOP-owned team assembling major modular structures and conveyance. Reporting to the Assembly Team Leader, you’ll read blueprints, align coordinates, install pipes, operate forklifts and cranes, and mentor a 1–3 person crew while upholding safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years of manufacturing and/or industrial construction experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints/ISO drawings and interpret technical documents.
• Able to read a tape measure and identify X/Y coordinates; comfortable with elevations.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekend shifts as needed.
• Experience operating forklifts/cranes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble modular structures and conveyance per specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, ISO drawings, and BOMs.
• Install pipes and fittings (carbon steel, stainless, plastic) and secure with brackets.
• Read coordinates, layout components, and prepare units for shipment.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and related equipment safely.
• Lead a team of 1–3 workers on projects.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement.
