You will be a key technical contributor in Microsoft AI and Microsoft 365 projects, focusing on backend development, custom development, databases, Power Platform, and deep SharePoint knowledge to delight our customers and help them build new solutions. Qualifications

• 5+ years’ Business Consulting experience.
• 10+ years’ experience analyzing and building existing collaboration systems.
• 10+ years’ experience scoping M365 implementation projects, partnering with Engineering and Cloud Architecture teams.
• 10+ years’ experience working in SharePoint on prem environments (SharePoint 2013/2016/2019).
• Active technical certifications in Microsoft Modern Workplace.

Responsibilities

• Charge hour goal of 1,450 hours annually with balance of billable and presales work.
• Provide 2–4 hours/week of support for project and escalated incident management.
• Lead pre-sales activities including client meetings, design, proposals, and project estimates.
• Engage with clients to propose Microsoft 365 Modern Work solutions aligned to goal and vision.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions.
• Mentor junior Modern Work and AI teammates in M365 best practices.

Description

This position will be a member of the Modern Work / Data & AI practice as a Senior Modern Work Engineer II. The incumbent be a key technical contributor in Microsoft AI and Microsoft 365 projects, focusing on backend development, leveraging custom development, database, Power Platform, and deep SharePoint knowledge to delight our customers and help them build new solutions/solve challenging business problems.

Roles and Responsibilities/ Essential Functions:

• Charge hour expectation of 1,450 hours annually; balanced between billable and presales efforts.
• Provide 2-4 hours/week of support for project and escalated incident management tickets for current customers with focus on customer satisfaction and quality.
• Lead pre-sales activities including meeting prospective clients and using your expertise to highlight how Microsoft technologies can solve everyday problems; follow-on presales activities will include solution design, proposal writing, and project estimating.
• Engage with clients to understand their business needs and challenges and propose Microsoft 365 Modern Work solutions that align with their goals and vision.
• Dedicate time to researching, evaluating, and integrating new technologies related to Microsoft applications (SharePoint, M365 Copilot, and the broader suite of Microsoft productivity applications)
• Lead cross-functional teams through complex business problems to successful delivery of a technology solution that will solve the challenge.
• Comprehend and contribute to complex business processes through business acumen and technical aptitude.
• Lead mentoring activities for junior Modern Work and AI teammates, investing in key M365 best practice education, building a deep level of expertise in new talent.
• Work with business leaders outside of IT to develop solutions.
• Communicate key messages at both Executive and technical leadership levels.
• Be a thought leader on the team in designing, coding, unit testing software.
• Cultivate effective communication with others throughout all levels of the organization.
• Lead development activities using cutting edge technologies to match the fit for our customer from a time, budget, and technical needs.
• Estimate development effort required to deliver small and large projects.

Requirements

How to qualify:

• 5+ years’ Business Consulting experience
• 10+ years’ experience analyzing and building existing collaboration systems
• 10+ years’ experience scoping M365 implementation projects, partnering with Engineering and Cloud Architecture teams to ensure all key components are identified and dimensioned
• 10+ years’ experience working in SharePoint on prem environments, including SharePoint 2013, 2016, and 2019
• Active technical certifications in Microsoft Modern Workplace
