You will own the modem stack from kernel drivers to user-space, delivering reliable connectivity with optimized throughput and seamless failover across networks. The role requires 4+ years in embedded Linux and 2+ years with OpenWrt, plus hands-on experience in modem integration (QMI/RMNET/AT).

Qualifications

• 4+ years in embedded Linux development.
• 2+ years with OpenWrt or similar distributions.
• 2+ years integrating cellular modems (5+ years preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate cellular modem modules into OpenWrt-based platforms.
• Create and maintain kernel drivers for modem interfaces (USB, PCIe).
• Implement QMI/RMNET/AT interfaces for modem control and manage network configurations.
