Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (5G) to design, develop, and optimize software for 5G modems and related subsystems. You will implement C++ components, build HAL APIs, and collaborate with RF, firmware, and systems teams to deliver robust solutions.

The role emphasizes real-time, embedded workloads, performance tuning, and standards compliance (3GPP/GSMA). You will mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural decisions for device and network components.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with C++.
• Direct experience with 5G modem software and protocol stacks.
• Strong understanding of cellular technologies (5G/LTE) and 3GPP specs.
• Experience with embedded systems and real-time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain C++ software for 5G modem components.
• Develop HALs and stable APIs for modem integration.
• Optimize performance for real-time embedded targets.
• Integrate and test modem software with SDKs and hardware.
• Collaborate with RF, firmware, QA to define interfaces.
• Drive compliance with 3GPP/GSMA standards.
• Participate in design reviews and code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide technical planning.
• Support feature delivery for device and network components.
