Job summary

TD in New Jersey seeks a Senior Data Modeler to partner across Treasury and Technology to deliver data-driven solutions for liquidity management, stress testing, and regulatory initiatives. You will design and implement complex data models and collaborate with data scientists and process owners.

You will translate business requirements into technical specifications, manage core data and metadata, and drive continuous process improvements in a fast-paced, onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree in a relevant field.
• Graduate's degree preferred with progressive project work or 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SaaS, Python, and Databricks preferred; AI/Copilot tools welcome.

Responsibilities

• Partner across Treasury and Technology to deliver solutions supporting liquidity management, stress testing, and regulatory initiatives
• Develop requirements, implementation plans, documentation, reporting, change management, and continuous process improvements
• Create a broad range of complex data models using varied techniques
• Act as a subject matter expert and escalation or process reference
• Solve complex, non-routine specialized issues and escalated matters
• Work with business owners to identify opportunities and serve as an ambassador for data modelling

• Manage core Bank and source systems, data, and metadata
• Develop and design data solutions and review data models and outputs to validate quality
• Collaborate with data scientists, business process owners, and visualization experts
• Design and deliver enterprise analytic solutions
• Conduct research, analysis, presentations, and communications for management and broader audiences
• Identify risks, provide guidance, and implement remediation plans
• Monitor service, productivity, efficiency, and process improvements
• Manage relationships across business lines and control functions
• Track emerging issues, trends, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain risk management and control processes
• Participate in knowledge transfer, cross-training, mentoring, and team development
• Keep stakeholders informed about project status and day-to-day activities
• Act as a brand ambassador for TD

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred, such as in math, physics, engineering, finance, or computer science
• Graduate's degree preferred with either progressive project work experience, or 3+ years of relevant experience
• Higher degree education and research tenure can be counted
• Experience working in SaaS, Python, and Databricks preferred
• Experience with stress testing and/or liquidity preferred
• Experience leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) or Copilot tools preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Subject matter expertise in a relevant area
• Ability to solve complex problems involving multiple variables and stakeholders
• Ability to independently perform functions and activities end-to-end
• Ability to work in an onsite, team-oriented environment
• Occasional domestic travel availability
