Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a data analytics and risk oversight professional to support the US Fraud, Insider and Conduct Risk team in Mount Laurel, NJ. You will build dashboards, data models, and repeatable analytics while translating complex risk information into actionable insights for management and second-line oversight.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred in math, physics, engineering, finance, or CS.
  • Graduate degree preferred with progressive project work or 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Hands-on experience building dashboards, data models, reports, or scorecards with Power BI or similar BI tools.
  • Experience with Power Apps, workflow tools, low-code/no-code solutions, or process automation.
  • Familiarity with eGRC platforms or control, issue, policy, procedure, and risk data.
  • Exposure to AI, GenAI, ML, analytics automation, or AI-assisted reporting.
  • Understanding of AI governance concepts including explainability, validation, human review, and model risk.
  • Experience in fraud risk, financial crime, operational risk, insider risk, conduct risk, or banking.
  • Documentation of data flows, requirements, assumptions, limitations, controls, and review evidence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain repeatable reporting, analytics, dashboards, and workflow routines.
  • Translate fraud risk, control, issue, and governance information into management insights for oversight.
  • Gather, structure, validate, visualize, and summarize risk data and operating processes.
  • Support AI use and oversight, including GenAI and automation capabilities.
  • Document AI use cases and maintain evidence of review, transparency, and controls.
  • Lead or facilitate remediation plans for performance, risk, and governance issues.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, process owners, visualization experts, and cross-functional teams.
  • Design and deliver enterprise analytic solutions and communicate findings to management.

Job description

  • Provide analytical, technical, reporting, and process support for the US Fraud, Insider and Conduct Risk Oversight team
  • Develop and maintain repeatable reporting, analytics, dashboarding, and workflow routines
  • Translate fraud risk, control, issue, and governance information into insights for management review and second-line oversight
  • Gather, structure, validate, visualize, and summarize risk, control, issue, policy, procedure, and operating process data
  • Support use and oversight of AI, including GenAI and emerging automation capabilities
  • Document AI use cases, assess outputs, summarize key risks, and maintain evidence of review, challenge, transparency, and controls
  • Act as a subject matter expert and process reference within the area of specialization
  • Solve complex, non-routine issues and escalated matters independently end-to-end
  • Work with business owners to identify opportunities and promote data modelling
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements
  • Manage core bank and source systems, data, and metadata to support business needs
  • Develop and design data solutions; review data models and outputs to validate information quality
  • Collaborate with data scientists, business process owners, visualization experts, and cross-functional teams
  • Design and deliver enterprise analytic solutions
  • Conduct research, analysis, presentations, and communications for management and broader audiences
  • Make recommendations and assess program, policy, and practice effectiveness
  • Monitor service, productivity, and efficiency; implement continuous process improvements
  • Lead or facilitate action and remediation plans for performance, risk, and governance issues
  • Manage relationships across business lines and control functions
  • Monitor emerging issues, trends, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain risk management and control processes aligned with risk appetite
  • Participate in team development, knowledge transfer, mentoring, and stakeholder relationship building
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred, such as math, physics, engineering, finance, or computer science
  • Graduate's degree preferred with either progressive project work experience, or 3+ year of relevant experience; higher degree education and research tenure can be counted
  • Hands-on experience developing dashboards, data models, reporting routines, or scorecards using Power BI or comparable business intelligence tools
  • Experience with Power Apps, workflow tools, low-code / no-code solutions, or process automation
  • Familiarity with eGRC platforms or control, issue, policy, procedure, and risk data
  • Exposure to AI, GenAI, machine learning, analytics automation, or AI‑assisted reporting
  • Understanding of AI governance concepts, including explainability, output validation, human review, responsible use, data quality, transparency, bias, and model risk
  • Experience in fraud risk, financial crime, operational risk, insider risk, conduct risk, or banking
  • Experience documenting processes, data flows, business requirements, assumptions, limitations, controls, and review evidence
  • Strong PowerPoint and storytelling capability
  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn new tools and simplify manual processes
  • Ability to perform sedentary work and operate standard office equipment
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and concentrate for long periods
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend instructions, and perform basic arithmetic
